Swanage Charter Boats

Swanage Diver

Swanage Diver is an ex RNLI Rigid Inflatable Lifeboat. 40' long and 14'6" wide, giving plenty of space for 12 divers to kit up in comfort.

The Owner & Skipper of the boat is Peter Williams who has 20 years experience as both diver and boat skipper. The vessel & skipper are both fully licensed, insured and equipped to meet all current regulations.

Mary Jo

The boat and skipper are insured and licensed with the MCA. Mary Jo has a 20 mile licence. All the required safety and first aid equipment is carried and is regularly checked. Copies of certifications are onboard.

The Owner & Skipper of the boat is Martin who holds a RYA Coastal Skipper qualification with a commercial endorsement, which includes sea survival and first aid. In addition he is also qualified to administer O2.

Smooth Hound

Smooth Hound is the new Blyth Catamaran, which is another charter boat operating through Peter Williams at Divers Down. She can take up to 12 divers and will be operates all summer, going to all the local wreck and drift sites. But she we can go to any site within range by request if you have a group of six or more.

The Skipper of Smooth Hound is Mike Marsh who has been skippering coastal boats since 1984 and knows the waters and dive sites around Swanage extremely well.

Sidewinder

Sidewinder is a 33' wooden Berry boat and has operated from Swanage for the last 12 years. Sidewinder can be chartered for the day to venture further. There is a toilet onboard and free hot drinks.

Sidewinder is also owned and operated by the Mary Jo's skipper Martin, her skipper is Dave. Dave holds an MCA coastal skipper qualification with a commercial endorsement, which includes sea survival and first aid. In addition he is also qualified to administer O2.
